When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

I took this photo in Harrisonburg, Virginia on Saturday, June 25th. The Great Race 2005 had kicked off that day, and their first overnight stop was Harrisonburg. This is Steve and Janet Hedke - the couple we talked to the longest. They were very friendly, and veterans of this race. They and their original condition Land Rover (car #45) came in 21st this year, which wasn't bad out of over 100 cars. However, they had done even better in select past races.
